This isn't homework, I am just curious, why in the Bust of Nefertiti, has she got no pupil in her eye? Or was this just a replica to make more Nefertiti's?

I believe the most accepted theory is that she did have one but it has vanished.
Another theory was that the statue was kept incomplete until it was formally dedicated.
