On the archaeology of Nubia & the Sudan.Lots of interesting things among them
2 middle kingdom forts survived lake Naser - one is at Shelfak.
Kushite temples to Egyptian gods were laid out in Egyptian cubits but ones to local gods used the GREEK column diameter method so Kush was not as isolated as we often think.
