Imagine my surprise to see that this name was still available! I thought sure it would be taken by now...

Anyway I have been going by 'Djoser' for many years in a couple of forums for exotic dancers--I am a disc jockey in these nightclubs and have been for ten years now.

But my first love, before ever becoming fascinated by exotic dancing girls, was Ancient Egypt. I got a scholarship to University of Chicago and was planning on becoming an Egyptologist, but though I did graduate I kind of got sidetracked and took a different path.

Like an idiot I decided I wanted to be an artist! Then after a few years of suffering I decided to get smart and do architectural illustration. But sitting at a drawing table for hours on end drove me nuts, thus the DJ thing. Don't hold it against me, I am a gentleman I assure you.

Anyway it is a pleasure to find and join this forum!

Welcome - the board did have a flush of being quite busy but has quitened down now apart from the !$@!!$ adverts some scum keep posting.

All those ads bug me too, Djoser. I've messaged them to cease, and sent an e-mail to kingtotutone complaining about them, but so far, nothing has been done.
As you say, it's really no big deal. But it is very irritating. This is the only Egyptian-themed chat room I've gone to--and I go to many--where this trash is allowed.
