Even though the sarcophagus has fallen into ruin, doesn't it still look wonderful? Yes, it could well be a possibility that the owner of the discovered tomb, Isisnofret, is the daughter of Prince Khaemwaset Smile

I wonder if they'll find out for sure?

Well Kawab, most of the proof at the tomb seems to point to Isisnofret being the long lost daughter of Prince Khaemwaset Smile
After all, no Historian knew that Tutankhamun was/is the son of Akhnaton until the former's tomb was excavated, right Question

Yes indeed. It never ceases to amaze me at the things they are discovering lying beneath the sand. What a wonderfully mysterious history Egypt has.

Couldn't agree with you more Meresankh Smile I for one have also held the belief that Tut's tomb was a way forward to discovering even more fabulous and splendid untouched tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Somehow, methinks we haven't been looking in the right places Cool

I love the constant discoveries. I think that's what makes the world of Ancient Egypt so interesting to a lot of people -- that there is so much we don't know and consequently, so much we can still discover. Smile

Well it's unlikely to be her grandmother as she would not have been described as a noble woman but as King's Wife nor would it likely have been Khamwaset's sister who married Meremptah as she would have been described as King's Daughter.
