You have quoted from the Torah/Bible so I must ask, do you take what is written as word for word?
I am interested when people quote the Torah concerning this period and of course respect peoples views if they are practising Jews or Christians, as the Torah/Biblle will be viewed as the word of God. |

There is mention of the apiru/hapiru in the Amarna letters and else where in Egyptian history and there has been suggestions that these could be the remanents of the Hyskos, who had now become slaves or even mean Hebrews.
I think this is a name and subject which is still being researched. |
