Hi, I'm doing an assignment trying to prove Akhenaten manipulated the religion to further his own power, to put it simply.
The problem is, I can't find ANY historian from around his time that has talked about him. How am I meant to analyse and corroborate primary/secondary sources if there are none?
Does anyone know of anyone? Please!

Of course you can't find any historian from his age, it's impossible Archaeologists know things about him from analysis of excavations, documents, art, DNA samples and so on - it's hard work, but we may find something interesting. If you still find this topic interesting, try to read some modern books about him.
