Oh dear....how dreadfull....I hope they still leave the Giza pyramids alone. That's just awful to see...as if we have enough lost treasures and monuments as it is. If they took away the pyramids, then tourism in Egypt would decrease significantly, and no more research could be done on them. Though, I think they've researched them enough, right?

The pyramids have been partly demolished - for the casing stones.

There are still queries about the pyramids - the book I am reading at present has some odd ideas that could be right.
