yeah, I know we can't go much by statues and sculptures, since they were mainly for show and the pharaoh did NOT do sit down potraits lol.
I've read some people suspect that the mummy named to be Amenhotep III isn't him. Some other contenders I've heard for this mummy is Aknenaten.

I have heard that.....Or maybe it was for Amenhoptep II....Anywho.....Wasn't his mummy found elsewhere....? (A III) Like with the whole Elder Woman, Younger Woman deal.....? And that unnamed body in KV 55....? But...I think if any mummy was found out to be Akh's I think it would be the one in 55, cause the blood type matches Tut's....(A III was too old to be his daddy, folks, move along...) And...Akhenaten has, nealry, become to be known as his father.....Most scholars have accepted this, except the stubborn ones.....

They could have sat down for portraits.....I can see Ramses doing that EASILY. *snickers*

Power is supposed to be a strong aphrodisiac. Otherwise how do you explain people like JFK and Clinton having so many women on the go. When you talk power in terms of Pharaohs, it has to be Ramses, although, i'm the jealous type so it might not have worked out between us:-) Plus he was a bit short for me.
