Hey I need help with a King Tut project that I'm doing. Why was he so important?

His importance lies in the fact that his tomb was virtually intact when it was discovered in the early part of the 19th century.

He wasn't all that important as a historical figure. He was a child-king who came to the throne at ca 9 years of age and ruled some 10 years. Or more likely, his advisors ruled most of that time So, he didn't really do all that much.
