Does anyone know whether there was book of the living?? i haven't seen anything promoste the idea but i was just wondering about it. I know there is a book of the dead, but i haven't heard anythign of a book of the living, only in the movie The Mummy Returns. Thanks,

First of all, there is no BOOK of the dead, but there is a scroll of the dead. I don't think there is a scroll of the living; I think they just made it up.

No, the book of the living was something made up just for the "Mummy" movies.

I'm 99.9% sure that there IS a Book of the Dead, not of the Living. The Book of the Dead may be scrolls, but that's what it's called.

The book of the dead is a bunch of scrolls to guide those who have died through the afterlife. (It has nothing to do with waking up angry mummies...) It wasn't in the book format shown in the movie.

As for the book of the living, it was just thrown into the movie. There is no more a book of the living as there are pyramid-building aliens.

the book of the dead is such a good book it provides good information about egypt
