Hey people i want to ask a few question ok i have project due after spring break and i 'm wanding what should i do to make the pyramids ?

How about thousands of tons of granite and limestone?

It really depends on the scale. When I did this in 6th grade, I actually took rocks about the size of my fist, cut them into block(ish) shapes, constructed the pyramid (chambers were HARD!), and used melted plastic as the cover. But of course, I had many resources at my disposal (like a helpful parent who "volunteered" to be my assistant). And, I also didn't actually do the cutting. My stepfather of the time had a saw he did it with.

But, I've seen them made out of sugar cubes, legos, brick, stone, etc.

Maybe you could use skeletons from an old animal cemetary? They should stack nicely, if the coffins don't work.

I'm sorry I can't be of any "actual" help. Without knowing all of the instructions (e.g. scale, limitations, etc.), all I can throw at you is heresay and conjecture.

i can help too just buy some clay and make pyrimids ur self or u can make a board project of teh pyrimid with the sphinx garding the entrance on the pyrimid.

What worries me is the fact that we were talking about a school project, who would even think of throwing a huge rock project at someones head? Perhaps I dont fully understand what it like in America but in England projects like that are viewed and appreciated, not generally thrown at other members of the school! lol

I have to fully agree with you, Si-amun. Wherever the thought of throwing rocks at another person's head to deliver a fatal blow because it's a school project is beyond me. It is fun, however, to entertain myself with nonsensical blabbering very much like I am doing now to sound smat and intelligement for others to read, digest and explore within the confounds of the fragile of existence that is the imagination of Abe Vigotta.

Well, Vietnam was a conundrum.

Troops were sent to stop the government from becoming Communist, and while very much, if not all the campaigns were won, Vietnam still became Communist.

So, there's always the different views. I say it was lost

I'm taking it you have personal experience in the matter?

First, if you're naive enough to trust good some glue to hold stone together, then you deserve the reprecussions of your pyramid falling apart and attacking people.

Second, a 2'x2'x2' solid stone pyramid is a tad heavy to just be walking around with, even balanced on your head. I made a little cart with wheels to serve my needs.

Third, who's to say you won't fall backward, or to the side?

What I have learned on my history subject is that the ancient Egyptians used water in a grid carved into the bedrock to make sure their pyramids were as level as possible. Maybe you can also make use of that principle if you are planning to make a big pyramid. You can add that to your report to get extra points.
