| Other than the fact that Rameses II, at the age of 22, went to Nubia and took 2 of his sons with him, we know very little about the reason. I would think it was to establish his sons AS his sons, able to campaign against the "wretched Kushites" as was their right as his sons and heirs. |

Probably just to re-establish his empire or instill fear in the Nubians/Kushites. And to give his sons some experience in battle.
And Osiris II, you accidentaly double-posted....computer glitch?
