The best? I'll go with Re. Without him, there would be no other gods, so really - the greatness of Re is in all the other gods.
Sure, you could say that the original was ...Hec? Ha? I don't remember the name off hand, but it was more of an idea than a god ... it existed since the beginning of time? Any help?
Oh well, I say Re. |

Anubis is my favorite. I've always wanted a pet jackal. _________________

A fine choice, Ramsekh. And I'm sure Anubis will be equally delighted with his pet human.

Depends which creation myth you are talking about. You could also argur that Ptah, The Ennead, Atum and Amun are all just as important. _________________

Nosey? What a name. XD
Anyway, I think Amun-Ra, because he is the New Kingdom chief of the gods and thus recieved the most power and powerful priests, thus making him the best. And he's my favorite too! _________________

Anubis(Hi!)and Osiris...again, because Anubis is my main Patron and Osiris, because I've always thought of Him as a father figure...sounds silly, but that's how I view Him. _________________

Of course this is all subjective... and totally dependent on how you define 'best': best in what way? best dressed? best sense of humour? best running commentary? best one who talks too much? best head? best healer?
I mean, Sebek's pretty cool, and Beaky's always making me laugh... Aset I like cos She always looks stunning to me... And lately I've begun to realise that Bennu's been hanging around for a few months now, and boy does he talk! That bird seems to have nothing better to do but talk to me while I'm writing! It's kinda disconcerting. So, yeah, it kinda depends on your definition of best.
Sebek -- definitely best head. But I'm biased. i love crocs.
Beaky -- best sense of humour. Explosions can be hilariously funny.
Aset -- best dressed
Bennu -- best talker and best running commentary
Ra -- best name. For a hawk, i can still hear Him roaring. it's His name! Raaaa!
... and the list goes on. It's like an awards night. I wonder who They'd thank?

Which source says that Thoth has a sense of humour? In texts he always seems calm, composed and generally nonchalant. . . . .
. . . . you're a Kemetic, right? _________________
