That is silly though, I wouldn't try and pronounce a Spanish town with a German accent would I? My Lai was in Vietnam, not in Japan so how you say it in a Japanese accent is irrelevant.

I have sampled quite a few modern and ancient languages, and I think that English is by far the most fun. Take a look at these words!

heard - beard
road - broad
five - give
early - dearly
beau - beauty
steak - streak
ache - moustache
low - how
doll - droll
scour - four
grieve - sieve
paid - said
break - speak

I do love English though, but I think that the Alphabet that we use looks ugly on the page. The Hebrew and Ancient Greek alphabets look beautiful when written down, and are fun to read and write in.
Not that I do Hebrew, one of my friends does- I do Greek and Hieroglyphs instead- as well as the ghastly cacophony that is French! I really do not enjoy French. I’m not bad at it; I just don’t really like it very much. I am so glad that English is my mother tongue it is so useful!

Any one do any other unusual languages?

I was doing Japanese but I quit when I moved in January. I don't feel like starting it up again. Not into anymore. I WANT to learn Arabic but no public school don't have it beause you'll most likely not use it during your worklife.

It's so stupid. Not everyone is going to want to speak spanish or want to talk to spanish speakers because they don't knw English. It's pathetic how the US is letting them run everything. They come here illeglaly then we have to go out of our way to learn the language just so they can understand what we're trying to tell them. And if a spanish-speaker goes to a english-speaking-only company and they don't know what they're saying, they report it and the company gets in trouble.

Not to mention the illegaly immigrants get to go to college for free while we have to pay for it.

I'm gonna be moving to Canada when I can.

Look Ramsekh- if you can learn Japanese then you can most certainly do hieroglyphs. The grammar of Egyptian is quite tricky but once you get the hang of it it is easy-
